S.F.T. Background

Central Oregon Shots for Tots (SFT) is a joint project of the seven Rotary Club of Deschutes County (part of Rotary District 5110), the Deschutes County Health Department, and the Deschutes County Immunization Coalition.  It was created in 1998 to address the overwhelming need for immunizing children ages birth to five.  The first series of clinics was held in May of 1999.  Since that time, clinics have been held in each of four communities 2-3 times a year.. To date (August 2007) the program has immunized nearly 9,000 children.
